1. The statement required by law
These statements have not been evaluated by the Food and Drug Administration. This product is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease.
That sentence is not a formality we are working around. MemoHive is a dietary supplement. Dietary supplements are not reviewed or approved by the FDA before sale, and no supplement is a treatment for a medical condition.
2. What we are allowed to say, and what we are not
Supplement claims are structure/function claims — how an ingredient relates to the normal working of the body. They are not claims to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent anything. If you find a sentence on this site that reads like a treatment claim, it is an error; write to us and it will be changed.
3. Memory complaints deserve a real assessment
This is the paragraph that matters most on a page about a memory supplement. Memory change that is new, worsening, or noticeable to the people around you is a reason to see a doctor, not a reason to buy capsules. Thyroid disease, B12 deficiency, sleep apnoea, depression, and a long list of ordinary medications all affect memory and are all things a clinician can find and address. Reaching for a supplement first can delay a diagnosis that mattered.
4. Speak to a clinician first if any of these apply
- you take an antidepressant or anything else affecting serotonin — rhodiola and panax ginseng both appear in interaction discussion
- you take a blood thinner — ginseng is discussed in relation to anticoagulants
- you take blood-pressure or blood-sugar medication
- you take an immunosuppressant, or have an autoimmune condition
- you are scheduled for surgery in the next fortnight
- you are pregnant, trying to conceive, or nursing
- you are under 18
- you manage a thyroid or psychiatric condition
5. Timescale, stated plainly
Bacopa monnieri is the ingredient this formula's memory claim rests on, and the human trials that found anything ran eight to twelve weeks of daily use. Nothing on this panel is expected to do anything on day one. Any page — ours included — suggesting otherwise is selling rather than informing.
6. Stop and seek advice if
you develop a rash, hives, swelling, breathing difficulty, an irregular heartbeat, severe headache, unusual agitation or sleeplessness, or stomach upset that does not settle. Take the bottle with you so the clinician can read the panel.
7. Individual response varies, and so does honesty about it
Two people taking the same capsule can have completely different experiences, and neither is evidence about the third. This site publishes no testimonials for exactly that reason.
8. The carton beats the website
Follow the directions and cautions printed on the packaging you receive. If they differ from anything here, the packaging governs.
